Rubber roller is a special product in rubber product industry, for its wide application, various technical requirement for sizing materials and complicated application environment. Sizing materials for top-grade products should be free of pore, impurity and defects.

Since the early 20s, rubber roller production has been very much advanced in developed countries. The twisting production is very mature. A set of special equipment has been developed in rubber roller production and subsequent processing.

Progress and advantages of twisting techniques:

A. Decreasing labor intensity and improving productivity

Glue is pressed into slices with blender mix and then wrapped on the core of bobbin under traditional technique conditions. E.g., it's very much satisfactory if 20 pieces of 80?á1000 rubber rollers are produced by four people. Temperature adjusting, supercharging and exhaustion are constantly carried out from feeding till rubber roller moulding under twisting technology conditions. Then high temperature is generated and the superplastic dense sizing material is moulded onto the workpiece required. The whole process can be completed through computer operated by two people only. E.g., 70 to 90 80?á1000rubber rollers can be produced by three people per shift.

B. Rate of finished products up to 100%

Sizing material generated by the sizing system is dense without bubbles. It's twisted onto the workpiece under even external force, so the moulded sizing material can reach ideal requirement and the cohesion between glue and the core of bobbin is far away greater than that of other techniques.

C. Another advantage of producing rubber rollers with twisting sizing system is decreasing lots of consumable materials and heavy labor force for subsequent processing.

In the past, rubber rollers under 80℃ must be tightened with binding band before sulfuration and those above 80℃ should be tightened with steel wire. When twisting technique is adopted, this part of costs and labor can be rid of. According to estimation of rubber roller plant of Jiangmen, steel wire costs over 100,000 yuan can be saved annually.
